Baby Brain Blueberry Muffin Smoothie


Like most parents, what I feed my children is extremely important to me, especially my baby. When Taylor turned one, I started to feed her smoothies. She mostly just drank a little bit from my smoothies when I made them. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to make a baby smoothie especially for her. This baby smoothie recipe has 2 tablespoons of Baby Brain Organics, which are specially blended seeds designed for healthy brain and body development in our littles. I fed this smoothie to both of my girls and Lauren loved the purple colour too.

Baby Brain Blueberry Muffin Smoothie
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¼ cup scotish oats
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ½ cup water (as needed for desired consistency)
  • 2 tablespoons Baby Brain Organics
  1. my daughter doesn't have any allergies so I was comfortable feeding her these ingredients. Check with your doctor if you have any questions.

    I have two little girls who are 10m and 4yo – my eldest is quite fussy but loves fruit and my youngest has a dairy allergy so this is the perfect smoothie for me to get them started on! I love how the all the sweet ingredients in you’re recipes are all natural, there are so many I want try!

    Hello! I am an avid smoothie enthusiast but my 2 year old has a banana allergy any suggestions what I should make her? I find all the smoothies I make without banana just arent as yummy. Thanks

      Hi Ivana! Bananas are great in smoothies because they are a natural sweetener which is why they always make smoothies taste so yummy. I’m sorry to hear your daughter has a banana alley. I would adding in medjool dates into her smoothies. They are a clean/natural sweetener that add a nice touch to a smoothie. Good luck!
